The National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) of the ministry of Health is requires the services of contractual driver to perform specific function within its program. NIPH is currently recruiting Cambodian for the position of Security Guard.

The Security Guard will be based with the NIPH and will support the project: “Improving Laboratory Capacity and Quality for HIV/AIDS Programming in the Kingdom of Cambodia under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief” US/CDC/GAP Grant No. 1U2GPS000939-01.

Position: Security Guard (3 Positions)

Project Title: Improving Laboratory Capacity and Quality for HIV/AIDS Programming in the Kingdom of

Cambodia under “the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief”

Budget Line: A-Salaries and Wages

Duty Station: Phnom Penh

Duration: 12 months (with annual performance review)

Main Responsibilities

· Controls entry and exit of people, checks identification cards and admits visitors;

· Controls traffic on the premises and directs parking;

· Patrols premises and grounds;

· Alerts supervisor on any security incident which may occur during and after office hours;

· Inspects and guard existing cars, motorcycles and goods;

· Other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor

· Make sure all the office are lock after working hour;

· Cooperate closely with two police officer at the main gate;

· Responsible for any properly loser in the NIPH’s compound;

· Security and protection for three stations (Left, Middle, Right) and each station with standby for 24hour/day;

· Control any transportation of goods in and out of NIPH;

Qualification Requirements

· Knowledge and skills Primary education an advantage.

· Ability to communicate effectively.

· Physical fitness.

· At least 1 year of work experience in driving.

· Good knowledge of Khmer; Minimum English knowledge spoken.

Duty Station: Phnom Penh

Duration: 12 months (with annual performance review)

Main Responsibilities

· Respect traffic regulations;

· Follow all safety instructions, including wearing safety belts and advise passengers to do so;

· Keep the assigned vehicles clean;

· Ensure that basic tools, spare wheel and emergency kits are in assigned vehicles;

· No smoking in the assigned vehicles, inform passengers to abstain from smoking as well;

· Fuel the vehicle immediately after field trips;

· Report required repairs or maintenance needs to your supervisor;

· Keep and update a daily log-book;

· No alcohol while on duty;

· Don’t initiate discussions with passengers;

· Assist with loading and unloading of luggage or goods to be transported;

· Assist with any other tasks requested by the Chief of the Administration working group;
